Inchie Quilts

I’ve been preparing materials for Inchie demos this week, since I’ll be visiting with Birgit and crew at Patchcom in Schönaich, Germany this Saturday for the 9th Annual Patchcom Quiltfestle. I’ll be sharing the step by step process for creating Inchies with quilters and fabric artists at the fest, as well as signing books and showing Inchie quilts from the book. I’ll also have samples of the InchieSee & InchieDo Viewer Tool & Ruler Sets which should be available in a couple of weeks.

I found this really cool fabric from the Coffee House line by Timeless Treasures for the demo materials:

I love, love, LOVE the Coffee Housefabric! There are so many cool things you can do with it when you cut it up into Inchies!

There is such a wonderful range of colors and design elements in this fabric, that when you cut it up, only a few embellishments are needed to make a great design. And each Inchie is so totally different and fun!

I have a feeling this fabric won’t just be used for demo Inchies! I sense a whole quilt design coming on, though probably not by this Saturday! ;) Will you be in the Stuttgart, Germany area? Meet me at Patchcom on Saturday for some Inchie fun. See you there!
